Everyone,
I got many bros asking at Woodlands meetup about the above,
so I thought post some of my personal experience to share
with you all.
I did my window flim at Unique. Its the
same shop that Rail13 has been recommending people to. They
are also the same company doing CSII paint protection system.
They are also the same company that did near to 100 cars
from MyCarForum on window flim alone.
I studies their film while they did my
car within 1 hour. The film they use are of superior quality,
unlike those cheapo film you can find everywhere in JB (RM150
to tint whole car). Go see for yourself.
The primary function of a solar film is
to cool your car (dependent on Infra-red rejection rating).
Other impt factor is that it holds your window plastic together
in the event of a smash resulting from an accident. Esp
those of you with kids in your ride, pls go install solar
film for safety reason. A major myth to many is that the
darker the film, the cooler your car will be. You cant be
any more wrong.

Yes Unique is using Johnson for some of
the better grade film, not the $150 one. But that doesnt
mean the $150 is the lousy film. Its still acceptable. The
one I've installed (higher grade), IN MY PERSONAL OPINION,
beats V-cxxl top grade film hands down, and at a third of
V-cxxl's price. I've used it for a week plus, after most
of my lunches, car remained relative cool after parking
an hour or so in the sun.

to bro Rail introduction, decided to have a go at Unique
Cool. Went down to installed Unique Cool solar film($145
package) today. All i can say is, the worksmanship and service
is really GOOD, no horse run. Before installation, one of
the workers demonstrated to me the heat reduction of the
solar film, explaining to me different types of film.
Was there throughout the installation and
i will say that the workers are really professional about
their job. Before pasting the solar film, they cleaned the
windows/windscreens, making sure they are as clean as possible,
and clear of dust and particles. During pasting, they will
make sure it is free of bubbles. Whole car installation
was done within 1 1/2hrs.
This is the best part. After paying for
the job done and i was about to drive off, my OC and i noticed
some scratches(4 to be exact) on the front windscreen. Told
them about this, and without any further questions, they
replaced a new piece for me. Feel abit paiseh cos they have
to remove the original solar film, clean the windscreen
again, then replace with a new one.
Finally job was completed, my OC and i
left, feeling that for $145 and getting this type of service,
really nothing to say. And ya, the solar film comes with
7 years warranty. So for all bros who want to fix on solar
film, give this package a try before the promotion ends.

mine is finished, raindrops started falling so i really
can't tell the real heat rejection apart from the demo given
by How.
well, bro as u mentioned no expectation
ya?
but the flim is really good stuff..
u need to see it to believe it's Unique! and oh, the equipment
is all top notch ones...

there in morning, 10am, only to finish abt 3pm. the workers
work on Sgoz147 ride 1st, and took slightly
longer as his windows and windscreens are more rounded.
no prob for me, but the 4 guy only had
lunch after completing my ride.. so really appreciate their
great work attitude! gave them some kopi $ after that for
it that's in the nutshell.
at the beginning, found the unit, 05-20.
1st thing they did was to drive the car for a quick wash
on level 6 while this is happening, How show us the solar
flim, along with a demo of how the flim block the heat.
IMPRESS! initally, my worries was that the front will be
dark but after installing, How asked to sit at the driver
seat and it is
like he said u will get a clearer view. excellent!
in the middle part of it, Sgoz147 , How,
Sherine (lady boss) and myself went for kopi on level 1.
Thanks Sgoz147 for the treat! after which they show us how

can do to a car! basically the car !
yes, now i tempted to do it for my own
ride!
(for bros going tmw, Sat, How and Sherine
wil not be ard so time might not fly past as quickly as
it did to me today. TCSS with them a lot!)
